Olukayode B.A Fabunmi
Olukayode B.A. Fabunmi is the Director of Business Law Academy, a leading provider of specialized capacity and human development programmes in Nigeria for businesses and government institutions. He is currently a Partner in the law firm of J.O Fabunmi & Co. (Barristers & Solicitors).
Olukayode has had extensive engagement with the government and multilateral agencies in Public-Private Partnership (PPP). He served as a member of Infrastructure Working Group of the Nigeria Economic Management Team.
He was also a member of National Assembly Business Environment Roundtable (NASSBER) Working Group as one of Nigeria’s leading expert on PPP. He is the founding Nigeria Country Chair and Global Council Member of International Project Finance Association. He was also the Conference Director for Nigeria Public-Private Partnership Conference. He has authored several articles in international journals and publications. He has also facilitated training on PPP locally and internationally. Olukayode is passionate about SMEs development which led him to establish Business Law Clinic, a specialized legal advisory service for SMEs and entrepreneurs. He also founded Canterbury Summer Camp, a community of young intellectuals and influencers from across the globe who come together to build friendships, ideas and personal developments.
He holds an Honours Degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria and a Bar qualifying certificate from Nigerian Law School. He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Law from the University of Hull. He attended the Hague Academy at the World Court. He also attended the Institute of Public-Private Partnership, Washington DC. He enjoys watching football, writing and reading.
